Call to creatives

This is a shout out to all emerging and established artists.

Westsyde Connection has just turned two years old and it's time for us to get some scheduling all up in our shop to help us coordinate a regular flow of fresh art hanging on the walls of Westsyde, a consistent supply of 'Rare Goods', regular rotation of front window displays and keep our front entrance wall looking FRRREESSHHH !

We've got our spread sheeting skills on so all you need to do is email us with your preferred date(s) and what you'd like to do.

We look forward to hearing from you and having you in-store soon !!

The Westsyde Team

-------------------------------

Below is info on all the different ways you can get involved with Westsyde's in-store arts program.

Hang in-store:

If you would like a place to display your artwork for a period of time we are open to you doing so OR if you would like us to host a small group show or solo we are also open to this.

Details: Period is for 6 weeks. 30% Commisssion when artworks sold. We are open to host solo shows, group shows etc. Openings will generally be conducted on Saturday afternoon's.

We have 3 - 4 main wall spaces depending on their usage at the time.
Wall dimensions are approx ranging in size from 2m x 3m to 3.5m x 3m

We've hung and sold artwork in-store from Bennett, E.L.K, Phibs, Deb, Esjay, Anton Benoit, Tez, Beastman, Pigeonboy, Houl and a heap more artists over the past 2 years.

Front Window Display:

We're looking for monthly window installations. The window faces New Canterbury Rd and is directly in-front of a major bus stop.

Dimensions: 2m deep, 4m wide, 3m high

The last major front window display was from The Movement as part of the 2010 Sydney Fringe Festival activities.

Paste-up Wall:

This has been an organic wall with local crew such as Bunkwaa, SMC[3] & Konsumterra hitting it up periodically.

Dimensions:
Front - 30cm wide x 3.5m high
Westsyde Entrance - 1.4m wide x 3.5m high

Do you design and sell your own Fashion / Jewelery etc?

Then we'd love to have it available through Westsyde Connection. With small start up brands or limited run designs etc we take stock on consignment. So hit us up !

Over the past few years we've stocked limited run tees from artists such as Deb, Claire Nakazawa and Roter. We have also stocked entire season ranges from small Aussie labels - Butter Goods, Third Chapter, King of Nothing and Koast Kollective as well as limited tee designs from start-up labels such as Grey Ghost and Wolfgang.

The more proactive you are with your label the more open we are to helping you grow your brand presence with Westsyde. Checkout the King of Nothing video if you're wondering what we mean....
